Hello and Welcome

Hi all.  Thank you for coming by to see my new blog.  The intent of ‘Pediatric FAQs for ordinary people’ is to talk about various topics about pediatrics/children/kids in a way that parents and other non-medial caregivers can easily understand.  Now, I may not always succeed in this, so questions on the posts are welcomed as long as they are nice.  This is a place of perhaps some blunt honesty (from my perspective, of course), but also love and respect.

The topics will include things like safety, behavior, illness, school, and related topics.  You may suggest a topic or question in the comments of a post, but please don’t contact me with a specific question about your child/nephew/niece/grandchild/etc., that’s what your pediatrician is for.

Initially I plan to post about once every two weeks.  That may change depending on availability and kids of topics and time.

Enjoy.
